We have worked with some amazing partners over the years. Below is a selection of them and what they had to say about our time together.
Talent Match has procured the services of Mind-Set training on several occasions during 2023. In each course that has run, we have received positive feedback from participants who have praised Billy for his ability to raise their positivity levels and support them to build skills for life. We have seen a big increase in participant confidence and resilience through Billy’s delivery and from speaking to some of the participants they are now really considering the way they communicate, and how they can achieve their goals through their newly found confidence.
Ruth Price, Employer, Engagement Manager, Talent Match
“Billy has delivered a number of residential programmes for our young leaders and has also delivered motivational training. He brings energy, a range of resources and techniques and a genuine warmth that engages participants within any environment. Feedback from young leaders is always positive, they enjoy working with Billy and gain a lot of motivation from the experience.”
Kai Wooder, Director Enterprise, Rank Foundation
“Billy Dutton is a wonderful facilitator who knows how to bring the best out of people. His kind, supportive, open and easy going style immediately puts those he works with at ease. He is not only knowledgeable, but his use of pace, humour, encouragement and sensitivity, has meant the young people, who attend out project rate him at 10 out of 10 and come to his sessions every week”
Dr Lorna Brooks, Time matters UK
“This is a really interesting little curriculum. What is especially interesting is that it is seemingly a peer-mentoring programme designed mostly for the benefit of the mentors, rather than for what their ‘mentees’ will gain from it. This is great to see, we felt that the mentors themselves have the most to gain, but that there is a tendency to put a bit too much weight on measuring the impact on the mentees rather than on the mentors. It’s a fine balance, but looks like you’ve found a trainer who understands this.’
Susan Cowell – Community Resilience and Youth Voice Merseyside Violence Reduction Partnership
“Mr Dutton has been instrumental in the process of change and development that we have experienced in school in relation to work done around the promotion of emotional health and well-being of our pupils. He has conducted courses of awareness raising and self-reflection for groups of pupils, as well as therapeutic intervention work for individuals. Mr. Dutton clearly has a broad range of transferable skills and qualities working in this field and we have been very fortunate have had the opportunity to benefit from his input into school life”
